Love the Billings and Windsor debut. Sounds like Howes has worked his a** off to win a debut. A bit like McVee last year. I'm just not sold on him as a player. Especially a defender. Hopefully he's the type that steps up at the level like Mcvee did. Team selection will be interesting.

I will be but not on any 4 time bnf, 2 time coaches votes winners.

So on the record, you don't think Oliver should make the best 22 this week right? or any other week?
Never said that. Just pointing out the issue with your logic.

You're picking and choosing when you want the coaches to be infallible, it's ridiculous.

Howes best trainer was interesting to hear and makes sense why they are giving him a go. Always a fan of rewarding players who put in a big preseason.
Yeah was wondering, not sure he's ready but cool to see the work rewarded.

Interesting. Not convinced by the Suns?
I really don't feel like they've moved much on preseason form. When i see them do something i'll change my mind. I feel that match could go either way but i also feel the tigers have a bit more upside then people think

Not really, because Oliver is like 20% capacity at the moment. When Goody picked Ben Brown against my wishes week in week out he was definitely closer to full fitness.

Not many fringe players, that have had Oliver's pre-season (or lack of) would even dream of playing round 0. let alone the first half of the year.

It'll be interesting to see how Ooze and Dimma coach too.

No one moves the goal posts like you do Dan

Wondering if you can answer the question re Oliver being at 20% old mate?

Did he tell you this? Fascinated as to how his fitness is being quantified like this, considering he's played two practice matches now.

It's not like me to tip against home teams in round 1, but * it. This year i'm going for us and Richmond
I think Koz is a big loss. We lack that x factor in the forward half. In a flip of the coin game, that can be the difference. It's a tough game to pick. Gotta clamp Gulden down somehow. In the convo for best player in the comp now. Huge if we can come away with a win up there. Round 1 is always a tricky round
