Nathan Brown was actually THAT good before he broke his leg.
As I said on the podcast, quite confident about this game.
Carlton were already ordinary, and lost their two best players. Gibbs is a huge out. Docherty is amongst the most important players to his side in the entire league.

Had a reasonable amount of experienced players in that side despite being very ordinary under Frawley for his last 3 sesaons. Richo of course and Nathan Brown was on fire.
If you can find somewhere to check them out you really should watch the Carlton, Port Adelaide and Collingwood games from that run. Carlton was our record winning margin against them, the first half is unbelievable! Port was Richo's 200th and a domination after quarter time. Pies is just the Nathan Brown show in the last quarter, one of the most enjoyable quarters you could watch!!

I'd like to see us win by 45+ points. Would be nice to start off the season where we left off in 2017 and the JLT.
I also would like to see us finish 1st in at least one of the minor rounds. I think 1995 was the last time we finished 1st at the end of any H&A round, so it would be great if Round 1 was the round.

Short, Bolton, Miles IN
Richmond by 47.
Carlton will bring it early and they'll look dangerous, but we'll overrun them all over the ground by the end of it.
I'm sure they're bullish but, totally unbiasedly, we do have the right to be confident coming off being Premiers and them being amongst the bottom teams, missing arguably their 2 best players in Docherty (inj) and Gibbs (Adel).
They're still another season or two from being really good, which, given the spine they're building, they will be.

We should win yes if we continue off last years form and dare I say it off jlt. But sometimes losing a player like Gibbs and docherty can be a blessing in disguise. I think a lot of people forget how worried we were when we lost lids. Just remember most people had us bottom 6 12 months ago
I seem to recall that Richo and he were number one and two in the Coleman race when he broke his leg.
Yeah, he was winning us games at times. Kicked 5 in the last against the Pies in one game.
Was a friggen awesome player till he broke his leg. Was handy after he finally got back but nowhere near as good.
If anyone was going to do the Coleman / Brownlow double since Plugger, reckon Brown would've come really close that year.
