Fumble would have cost him points if it was in Melbourne's goal square and it directly caused a goal, but it was at the other end so no way points are deducted.
A fumble which lead to a turnover should cost points regardless of where on the ground it is, perhaps not as severely but still.

I probably should considering you've pulled something out of your arse without any substantiation.

Are you daft? There are countless fumbles that directly lead to turnovers throughout every game that aren't penalised. Why has it suddenly become an issue because it was Ablett who fumbled?
