Same, but if he is emergency for 2/3 weeks or more a guy like Finlayson will have 1/2/3/....etc.... price rises. Plus, you always blow 1 or 2 trades on your starting team so,..... Personally, I am happy to blow a trade.

There is a chance he is named, plays shite and gets dropped. Like a tucker for you ;)

I agree with Doona. You never know how long it will take for him to play, especially if they smash the lions first up

I've shuffled a few things around and brought in C Byrne for Coffield, he has the potential to be in that 50-70 range which isn't too bad for his price.

Finlayson is sitting at M11 for me at the moment anyway

With Coffield likely an emergency and shuffled off to M11 this week, I have to start 3 of Naughton, Murray, Doedee, O'Connor and Finlayson

Naughton and Murray confirmed will debut. FWIW Tucker was only a second rounder, Coffield is a genuine top 10 first rounder.

No offence to Saints fans, but their running rebounders are bland and vanilla except Savage who has some pace. Webster is injury prone, McKenzie hasnt came on, neither Rice, Geary is more lockdown and Roberton is a 3rd tall.
Probably one or two Ive forgot about.

There surely was a reason Joey finished his career back there and Newnes constantly shuffles between HB and wing.

I really like the look of Coffield at M11. Great idea, hadn't considered it initially.

Same but I was doing that to avoid Naughton! Not thrilled to pick him at that price but may have to
The issue is that there isn't much above Coffield (Byrne probably the interesting one but at 290k)
Then below Coffield you have
Naughton - Secure in the side with no Adams
O'Shea - Not named
Pearce - Will be good for 40s-50s
OConnor - Not sure on his JS

Todd Marshall is in too apparently. Not DT relevant himself, but it probably makes him the most obvious like-for-like out for Gray next week, which hopefully boosts Barry’s JS.

That coupled with Michael Barlow waiting in the wings at the Subs is enough for me to go Holman to Barry. Think that’s my side done.

Coffield is risky to start with if rocking 3 back rookies. You have 1 E. I'd be more prepared to start without him and burn a trade to get him. Best case he doesn't play for 2/3 weeks and you can sideways a finlayson to him if he looks good on the bubble.
Last year I had Newman in my squad from day 1 as I was sure he was part of our best 22. He wasn't named for round 1 and as a result I dropped him for some nobody. Next week he is selected and stayed in the team pretty much for the rest of the year. I then had to waste a trade in round 3 to bring him in.
I see Coffield as the same scenario. So I will keep him in the squad. I do see him in St. Kilda's best 22.

To Garlett or not to Garlett? We are not short of fwd rookie options this year
