I NEED round 1 to start. I have made so many back and forth changes this week.
Just wait till you see the freako tomorrow - good times

I get so frustrated during this time. At least im pretty settled on the first 2 games.

Or am

Zac Clarke now injured aswell, gee okay Griffin and maybe Hannath

Kerr to return round 2 with NN what about Masten, S.Selwood ect

Do i want Danger, if Tambling is named round 1 my head will burst

A few Adelaide sports reporters/fans on twitter today confirmed Tambling wouldn't play, straight from Sando's mouth apparently.

Also fairly sure NN is due to return round 4-5?

And back to the drawing board I go.

Yep, make that two.

I don't trust three rookies on the ground, and none of the mid priced options are doing it for me. Was hoping Armstrong would have a good last outing against Port, but doubts linger, and his JS is a concern. The 300k+ types getting some notice like Hibberd are similarly unappealing. I really don't know how you can go with fewer than 4 premos in the backline and feel like you're on firm ground.

Yeah that's how I look at it. 3 back rookies on the field is just too much to rely on imo. I'm confident Pittard and Goodes won't see the vest but not as confident in the scoring potential/JS/Vest probability of the other rookies. It can probably be done, just needs a bit of luck.

What do ya reckon sante, Knights lining up on the HFF? :p

Haha...gone MIA. I think he got a bit of an injury but apparently was good in the VFL match on Sunday. No chance to debut round 1, lucky for me Karnezis proved his selection and it was an easy swap :)

I was looking forward to Knights tearing it up and getting good delivery from Cotch and Lids. Oh well, maybe next year haha.

28 disposals in 3 quarters. Quite impressive.

“Chris Knights (11 kicks, 17 handballs, seven marks) was terrific with his run and carry and also linked up well from stoppages. He had a heap of the football for his three quarters . . .
If he can play that role when he makes his way into the team then he should be a good pick up.

What do you think about Petterd? I will be starting 2 out of J Kennedy Petterd and Byrnes in my starting 22.

I think Dimma loves him so far and I expect him to play Round 1, only issues I have is could be sub and the other is whether he will remain in the team...Batchelor and Dea are 2 players who he is playing in front of but one poor game and we might bring one of them in.

Anyone else considering starting SJ in the mids for Rd1 if your VC knocks out a 170? or Crouch tonnes up as a mid emergency...as in save a trade by not selecting a Rd1 non playing rook....Then move SJ to the forwards for Rd2 via a Neade/Kerridge type F8

Too much effort and relies on your vc going big
Id rather have sj traded out to a sub to bang out 90 than have his 500k on the bench

The vc is no certainty either

Cotchin Murphy Gibbs Cox Goddard Dangerfield are in a lot of sides but which one do you choose - 17% chance youll choose the biggest one

Then there are players you might want to look st a bit unique-like Stanton Thompson Barlow Deledio - but theyre even less likely and would you really want them in your side

And then you have the fact that Swan is vs' ing north and the chances of him scoring less than the vc YOU selected is minimal

The chances that 1. Swan is beaten by a possible vc candidate and 2. You choose that candidate correctly is small enough not to warrant too much planning

Thanks. May give him a miss.

Not relying on anything. This scenario (starting SJ in the mids) is a hypothetical ATM and would only be an option if/after Dangerfield knocks out a monster score as my VC and Crouch scoring 90+ as my mid emergency.

everyone else will have an extra 400k on the field for the round..don't you think that is a fairly big handicap to give out? even if the others go bang... go for the gold champ.
