As I stated on their board, which elicited howls of derision, they have 5-6 very good players and a bunch of blue collar plodders in support.

They seriously miss a Johncock/McLeod type in defence. No. Rebound. Whatsoever.

As for the scum, they just belted it forward and then sat behind Adelaide and waited for them to make mistakes. They weren't particularly proactively impressive in any way.

Tex made the most of his opportunities, but the talk of no Tippett as any kind of improvement got shut down in real life pretty quickly.

Fletcher absolutely destroyed it. It's hard to believe that taking him, and others like him, out of the game goes so unnoticed by the media when they plays us. If last night wasn't a glowing endorsement for the tipple towers I don't know what is.

We also saw how badly turnovers hurt. If we're not hand balling it in chains, I fear our disposal by foot may revert back to '08-11 levels. If it does, we're ****ed.

They played well against us when Laidley was being outcoached by Craig. It's interesting that our record against them since then, even when Craig was still in charge has been in the positive. I recall having said at the time that a brief look at both lists and their certainly wasn't the discrepancy in talent that the scoreline was often showing.
