Who the what now?

What? I don't remember there being a whinge about this last year? Disgruntled maybe, but hardly a sookfest.

Sorry, I chose too strong a term.
They definitely weren't happy when the AFL told them to wear white shorts, in line with Geelong and NM doing the same when teams have dark kits. From memory they put it in the same boat as being forced into clash tops coz Richmond didn't have a suitable clash against the TP jumper.

Wonder if they'll wear white shorts with this again like last year, or red? I liked the contrast the white gave against the red jumper, and it fit with the white dot patterns and white-based sides. Not sure if it'd look as good with red.

Under normal circumstances GC and Sydney never wear white shorts away except with their clash kits; they wear red shorts with their main jumper home and away.

Well we kinda swapped the white for the yellow.

Three years in a row with the exact same design.

Absolutely stunning! The white and lighter shade of blue pop so well! Still looks very classy as well.

Good year for indigenous jumpers this year, only a few that I'm not a fan of.

No but like Sydney they don't wear white shorts away unless they are told to wear their non-red jumpers.

No reason at all why Eagles can't wear Navy shorts, and Suns red shorts.

I hope that's what happens, but I suspect the Suns will be in white shorts instead.

I don't really have a problem with it - if everyone changes their jumper every year, it's going to get old really quick.

I like having our ind jumper as yellow, as we can wear it home or away against almost anyone.
I would like to see the design adapted to a yellow jumper with blue 'wings' next year though - ideally all Eagles jumpers should use the wings design in some format to get more consistency.

I seriously hope the white around the AFL logo doesn't cut off the boomerang IRL.
I like the jumper but I think its time we changed it up a bit.

I just think when people adulate the ugly looking Port magenta/blue/gold jumper (which does not function as a modern footy jumper), while dissing these things or not giving genuine props to good jumpers (the Carlton one is really cool, Freo's also look good, but all they get are a "it's not that bad, best of the lot" instead of just saying they're cool), it comes off as a bit... it's a bit like latching on, like you're picking on something that's easy to pick on – a soft target.
