BS selections. Laird still not back, Mullett dropped.
Bailey Williams has been named on an extended bench, with Suckling, Adams and Boyd all back I'm quite worried he won't get named. Geelong also play on Sunday and whilst Ruggles has been named on the field Tom Lonergan who Ruggles replaced last week and with Jake Kolodjashnij also expected to make the cut there's no real guarantee on Ruggles keeping his spot. Clay Cameron has also been named on an extended bench. Here's hoping all three are named but just keep the thought in the back of your head until the final teams are announced tomorrow arvo.

Ok I'm proper stuck now. Have 2 choices and its literally a flip of a coin.

Get Steven in - which means dropping Sam Mitchell and then picking Robbie Gray up in 2 weeks

OR

Get Robbie Gray in - which means I cant get Steven in for 2 weeks, but get to keep Sam Mitchell.

OR

somehow find the money and stop whinging?

2 premiums are better than one. Keep SMitch and get Gray this week.

SMitchell also averages 113 in wins, and much less in losses, the Hawks are going into a really easy run and he should go back to scoring big.

Yep, I'm personally holding him on that basis (plus the basis of having enough other spuds to worry about trading).

Currently looking at one-up-one-down:

M.Crouch -> Blakely (low BE still and works for byes, plus Freo is coming into an easier run and he did OK last week against an easier opponent)
C. Daniel -> Z. Merrett (Daniel netted me 40K but with a BE of 105 has had his run. Have been missing having Merrett, but open to other ideas)

Downsides of current trades are that I have no mid cover (Gaff & MacPherson benched) and if both Hall and Kerridge don't play then I'll cop a donut up forward. Finally have some DEF cover at least.

You dont have to worry about Kerridge mate

But Hall is a concern

Gaff & Rockliff sitting on my bench.

Papley > Wingard
MacPherson > Petracca

Can't do much more this week.
A lot of money sitting on the bench but thankfully, my league doesn't play the bye rounds so that's 3 weeks of cash generation + 6 trades as a bonus (and no stress planning for it)

Haha, thats my bench. I am thinking:

Gawn > Lycett (Only so I can do the next trade as I have no cash)
Fantasia > Williams

Helps my byes, but I will probably shoot myself in the foot with these trades

Seriously considering Sam Collins as I think that he will get a good go with Alex Pearce out of the side... Currie out screwed my trades...

Mills > S. Collins
McCarthy > Paine

Any other rookies I should be considering over these guys? Looking to generate some cash this round.

Better than last week. There was some talk early that Gawn may be out but that was not the case. Hall came back but Daniel Menzel went and got injured. I have George Hewett and Daniel Wells, both who are MID/FWD DPP but both of my injured reserves are FWD only so I was not able to get both of them onto the forward line. Traded Lincoln McCarthy($238K) for Tom Phillips($125K). As Tom is a FWD/MID this means I can now get both Wells and Hewett to the forward line and also gives me $113K. Leaves me treading a fine line with injuries though. One of my defenders was missing and as this now leaves me flush I can get Sam Docherty. My next priority will be to get rid of Sam Mitchell, assuming he goes on the way he has for the last few weeks.

Got yeo and gaff, my only Eagles and they're out :/ gonna be a struggle of a week but might risk the donut and go fantasia and mills for Steven and Collins.

Either that or fantasia and menadue for Collins and duncan/gray/Zaha/Kelly. Thinking this could be a good option...

Jesse Joyce is the one I was tossing up between with Collins, because of his Mid/Def DPP. If they were both guaranteed to hold their spot in the team, Id probably go with Joyce due to that reason. And he's 20k cheaper.

Long list of defenders/mids to downgrade to next week. Which is great because that's exactly where my cash cows are at the moment - still holding Brown, Tippa, Wagner, Mills, Blakely, Smith etc.

Pretty happy to grab Paine this week, and to see who scores well (or who isn't dropped) from the huge list of first gamers named today.
