Trades Round 10 trades

Drew, Hayes, Atley, Setters all in my midfield (3 on field). Plus Williams and Danger.

Managed to work some DPP magic so that I avoid donuts in the middle.

Williams > Corbett (FWD via Burgess DEF)
Setters > Whitfield (MID)

Means holding Scrimshaw in DEF and fielding this week
Playing Answerth + Whitfield in the middle
Switched Worpel to mids for Drew
Playing Larkey and Corbett in FWD

Atley and Hayes riding the mid bench = no cover.
Danger and Drew riding the fwd pine = no cover.

Strapped in and fingers crossed. Here we go boys.

Haven't heard much noise around Taranto? 87 BE and been scoring well. A lot of high scoring mids for GWS but he's been getting it done this season

Would really appreciate some advice on what direction to head in guys.

Option 1: Matt Crouch > Bewley (fielded) and Zac Williams > Lachie Whitfield. This leaves me 311k in the bank and Jack Ross at M10. Possible uber upgrade next week.

Option 2: Jack Ross > Bewley (fielded) and Zac Williams > Jack Ziebell. This leaves me with 167k but potentially not a lot of downgrade options next week which wouldn't allow a premium upgrade.

In Option 2 the "uber upgrade" next week is bringing M.Crouch back. It's basically Crouch & Ziebell v Whitfield and whoever you could upgrade to next week.

I reckon Ziebell isnthe way to go this week. He could go up 40k and has a handy R14 bye. Whereas Whitfield SHOULD go down in price.. famous last words.

Plus it's important to trade Ross as he is dead weight

Personally, I think it’s limited - but I had him from Rd 1 - so I haven’t stressed about it..

He was ok last week against and undersized defence and got a goal from a dubious mark. I would expect he will play the odd game here and there, but I’m not relying on him.

He'd have to have a pretty decent game this week, I would think, to keep out Rata. If he's quiet and doesn't do too much, Ratugolea or even Buzza could come in. Can't see him locking down that spot, so unless it's a need, I wouldn't be bringing him in if you don't already have him

Lucky I logged in - didnt thing Bewley would make the cut, and saw people getting him. So yeah, Bewley instead of Baker. Now I have $6K next week instead of $3K. Doubled my money in one transaction. Rolling in it. Oh and also Drew to Dusty. Welcome back my old friend.

Is it worth trading Duursma instead of Hayes this week (Scrimshaw on field) if it means I can get Whitfield this week?

Got very limited funds and now worried I may not be able to get him in next week.

I have pussy footed around all season and I've decided enough is enough. Brayshaw and Drama can GTFO of my team or Whitfield and Crisp. Fielding Gibbons, Lockhart and Scrimshaw who are all coming off 30's and 40's but oh well

Right, at the 11th hour I think I've changed my mind again.

Hayes -> Young (Drew into MID)
Williams -> Ellis

Taking a risk here. Leaves me $119k in the bank. Don't think Hayes is much chance of getting back in for the Dogs, think Drew has slightly more chance. Will look to shift him next week down to Bewley if he plays well and free up a heap of cash to get Petrecculle up to a premium.

Gives me DPP link back at the mids which could be useful.
