For some it seems to be a case of getting the best rookies in at the best possible price. If you think you need jacobs and lynch this week a double downgrade (banking money) would appear to be justified.

For others, perhaps it's an opportunity to bank some money and watch your potential upgrades for another week if you have what you feel is sufficient cover.

For those that don't fit the categories above...maybe they're just clowning around.

You could have infinite money in the bank and it's still worth 0 points.

It's what you do with the money that counts.

I'm going to be 2 premiums ahead of the people that wait. Doesn't help when those premiums you bring in get bad scores (Bartel) or rested (Enright)

Sometimes it is simply timing and research.

If two solid rookies are on the bubble, delaying an upgrade seems quite justified.
