Looking like bringing in Steven after another look at things... Lewis seems great value though!!!!! Scored big against lesser teams, looking at the draw he only has a handful of top 8 contenders for the rest of the season so should score well.. BE64 $491K. Anyone considering?

Pretty much locking in my trades for the week:



I really wanted to trade out two rookies who aren't playing come the byes and finally Menadue is leaving the team with Papley also following him out the door. Nervously excited to bring in McVeigh, my backline has been crying out for an improvement for weeks and I just don't have the money to bring in a Simpson/Docherty/Vince so at that price McVeigh is just to good to let go.

I've decided to pick Tucker over Collins, I'm just hoping Tucker can stay in past his bye, with Ibbotson out for a month I'm hoping it can really help his job security. I have to play the player I pick on the field and I'd rather Tucker on the field. I'm at the stage where I need to start taking some risks, I know most people are going with Collins but sometimes it's good to be different. I'm due for some luck.

It does feel good to be able to facilitate trades that you've been wanting to do for a number of weeks but often cant due to other forced trades. Onwards & upwards as they say.

With lots of fresh rookies available my plan next week is to go Mohr and Macpherson > two best rookies, and try to ensure I have max players playing over byes. Following week I'll try to make one more upgrade, probably using Smith and Wagner.

I like your team except for wines and selwood in the middle. If u somehow get neale and steven in there next few weeks i dont think there could be better sides atm. Did u ever have kerridge ?

Yeah both Wines and Selwood have burnt me like crazy the last 2 weeks, if they don't turn it around I will be looking to move them on during their byes. They are luxury trades though.
I never had Kerridge. Thought he was too expensive. When making my team I had about 650k left for a couple of forwards. Could have gone with Kerridge and had cash left in the bank, but I decided to spend it on a 'premium' (Barlow) instead. In hindsight, Kerridge would have been the far far better pick, but you can't win them all I guess.

Nice looking team, I've still got about five trades to go before I'll be satisfied with my team. I'm around 17000 at the moment as I had a 1694 in round 2 and only three +2000 scores since. But as I stood out of fantasy last year I'll be happy if I can do better than I did in 2014 which was 29264. However that was out of 194069 whereas this year the total number of coaches are 146243.

I have shaw , wagner , ciarne byrne , dea, byrne-jones and mills. Suprised im sitting in the top300 with this travesty. Everything else is a premium player except hopper in the midds.

Interesting fact just looking back at my trades over the last month.

I've just come to realise that Menadue is the spud you want to cut from your team every week, but he just keeps hanging in their because there are better trades.

It's annoying.

I think McVeigh and Suckling are looking really good for some easy upgrades down back. Not sure when I'll get there though.
