Nothing tough about ramming your elbow into someone’s head when they’re on the ground you flog.

regardless of result 4 quarters of this and sending Dixon off on a stretcher would be excellent boys.

Small sample size but the balance of Mitchell worpel and cousins looks good. Cousins is much cleaner then Jaeger

**** commentators, who cares?? Don’t let it bother you. Great endeavour. Shiels and co showing some fight and intent which is great. Love some of Patton’s efforts. A few times just didn’t go our way but a really solid first half.

Cousins delivery into forward 50 is 100 times better than O'meara.

I've said it a few times but we are much better off having cousins and howe as midfield rotation supports rotating off hff and hbf respectively than having battlers like Morrison or Minchinton playing those flanks all day and leaving Worpel, O'meara, Mitchell and Shiels with no help.

I've been a doubter but he's been pretty good so far

Had a laugh at some of the commentary coming from port supporters so far- hopefully we can take this one down to the wire!

Safe to say Port have had everything go right for them so far. Lucky bounces, favourable umpiring and the Hawks just not turning opportunities into goals. The scoreboard can be such a liar sometimes.

I’ve seen marks overturned and free kicks paid to the opposition when that happens behind the play at least a dozen times this year. Infuriating that was completely ignored by the umps.

Hartley has been really good, really suprised and a great kick to.

Hartley has been impressive. Reads the flight of the ball well, is calm when he’s got it and is a lovely long kick.

Spot on.

He was contracted for two seasons very good reasons. A great on field leader with voice and direction. Just what we need in the last line of defence.

He should be persisted with for the rest of the year and go into 2021 with even more confidence.

Very happy so far still far from perfect but to be expected!
-Patton,Cousins,Hanrahan have all showed a lil bit in there return to the side.
Worpel,Scrim,Day lead the next bracket of blokes to help Mitch,Jom,Breust etc.

-To be a harsh judge Stratton & Shiels best footy is well passed them they have lost that first few steps and sharpness.
-Tob days are numbered on this list.

And that number of days is in the thousands.

Very ok with that half, they are better than us let's not kid ourselves. We ain't getting a great run from the umpires, (yes somewhat my opinion) but moreso from my St.Kilda and Bulldogs mates sending texts saying you are being ripped off.

Most important we are having a crack. We had to rest Bruest that quarter so we didn't do as well thru the middle. Still Hartley (even if all his career is a back up backman like Spangher and that's all he's getting paid like it) and geez he can roost a ball.

We had a lot of guys on in the first, and you can only assume Clarko had done the 'Speech' can he get them up again start of the third... hope so.

We've had a crack tonight, I've always been happy when we've had a crack.

A few so-so performances but so be it we'll deal with them after the game.

To put it in perspective do I want Ben Stratton next year? NO
Do I want our club to win this game for Ben Stratton for his 200th f' yeah.

The end of life/retirement is always hard in footy tbh in anything... let's win it for Stratts.

This is excellent by the Hawks as look like a different side. Some of the umpires calls were dubious at best but we still hung in there. The Dixon elbow with force to Stratton's head no free? Well fu.. me.

If we keep this sort of pressure up and run direct in waves, we can win this!

Patton has been very good I think in his game back as brings another dimension to the side. Go HIMIE! (Get Smart)
