Lions to win by 49 points.
Hopefully if other results go our way, we might be a chance to break back into the top 8.

Didn't Charlie toss a coin at a recent NRL game?
I don't think anyone is turning away from the AFL because of this
Have no idea. I don't follow any other code or sport. Plus, Charlie used to play league so I'm guessing that would be his connection to nrl. But what connection to AFL do these 3 league players have to our code?
We finally have that big forward line presence who can also take a contested mark in Fort or Oscar.
Daniher and Hipwood can lead away and take their defender with them.
We can park Fort or Big O deep now and know that there is more chances of them taking a mark than everyone flying for it and landing empty handed.
FWIW, there's a pretty good relationship between us and the Dolphins now, to the point Rich is now doing some coaching (assume kicking, not running coach) with us. He was over at Redcliffe a couple of Thursday's ago in full Dolphins kit on the ground in the warm up etc. Dolphins players have also been down at training and in the sheds after games quite a bit, so hopefully each club can help each other with respect to what the other is good at, as opposed to being direct competitors as such.
I believe he's a Lions supporter, but other than that, you're right not much. What connection does the purple wiggle have?
It's about raising money for charity not spreading awareness of different sports
If Oscar and Fort are just able to stand under a high kick and ensure it comes to ground, I will be happy. But yes marks 25 meters out would be great. We finally have that big forward line presence who can also take a contested mark in Fort or Oscar.

Is the Purple Wiggle any relation to the Purple Flog?I believe he's a Lions supporter, but other than that, you're right not much.
I can see you're being deliberately obtuse. What connection does the purple wiggle have?

Loved Jaspa's interview on lions.com, very confident young man, said his strength was his disposal and thinks he can do some damage delivering the ball into F50 tonight, can't wait to see him in action.I think we'll see Fletcher and Lohmann kick their first goals to go with a strong Lions win.
So there's still a connection to the Lions.
3 pro nrl players connection to a competing code is what?
Rich also over the last couple of years was a kicking coach at the BroncosFWIW, there's a pretty good relationship between us and the Dolphins now, to the point Rich is now doing some coaching (assume kicking, not running coach) with us. Welcome to contributing to the fun.My first post here, taking my nephews to their first ever Lions game tonight they are pumped! Let’s get it Lions!!
Long time lurker here just thought I’d add my piece on the Gunston/Rich saga. I was actually pretty shocked from the response here, everyone was calling for their heads and when it happened a lot of users had a meltdown.
I honestly don’t think we heard the full story and I think it would be pretty naive to think they just walked in to fages office and stepped down. I’m guessing we don’t know the full story and there were some prior conversations amongst the staffing/ leadership group that ultimately led to this decision.
Nah - they are both purple but only one of them has a personality and doesn't scare the children...Is the Purple Wiggle any relation to the Purple Flog?
Keen on Fletcher or keen on screwing the Lions as much as possibleVery interested to see how young Fletcher will go, safe to say we were very keen on him.
Lions website says he's out with a quad issue. Poor bugger can't catch a break
bit concerning gardiner could not even manage 3 games in a row before suffering another injury
think we are a better side with a fit dizzy but its getting harder to see that being a realistic expectation to have
Agree - we haven't got our best 22 defensive unit out there tonight..........
Rather than (surely) being anything significant, I think (hope) it's the medical team being overly cautious due to his history, and us being in the second half of the season.
