No, your injury comment has nothing to do with tonight's attendance! Because I'm sure there's thousands out there tonight that are sitting back going "oh I'm not going tonight because Fas, Elliott, Swan and Adams are injured"...

Good for those families it's a wise decision. As someone that sat through the horrible Sunday night match v Carlton I'd encourage just that. The reason I didn't acknowledge them is they have an effect, but not to reduce attendances to record lows. I'd suggest we've become extremely apathetic if we only have 20,000 rusted on supporters with 80,000 members...
Do you have a source for that 80,000? Can't find it anywhere.
The outs are part of a myriad of issues and what a silly comment, where did I say that fans wouldn't go because of the outs?

You're all soft, I'll be there tonight.

Me too if I was in Melbourne.

I've got a 3 week training course in Melbourne starting on the 25th July and will be going to all the Pies games I can and any other games I can manage. Can't wait but I will need to find my winter woolies.

I'd bring in Macaffer as well.

Freo are short stocked in the ruck as well without Sandi and Griffen, so Grundy in these conditions can handle it alone, with White offering backup.

I thin we need one ore really big body in the midfield. Treloar, Sidebottom and Pendlebury are a bit skinny, and De Goey is still a kid. I would've considered Rupert Wills this week to be honest.

Also, we have Brown, Reid and Marsh down back, so I'd throw Howe forward. We don't need to be overly tall down back against the Dockers. Obviously if we need some cover then Howe can switch back...but at least Cloke and Howe up forward offer us some X Factor.

Caff as late Change is the Obvious move tonight

That said I'll be watching it from my balcony in shorts and T-shirt in a balmy 25 degrees with a cold beer in my hand looking out over a tropical 5 acres!

Bastard!......no need to torture us NT :)

I'll put it in perspective.......I am sitting in a heated office and my hands still haven't warmed up yet! Currently 6.9 Degrees!

Witts would only be an emergency in case a ruck ie Grundy goes down OR to indicate to him that he's being dropped for team balance.

That's was Allen jeans favourite reason, "sonny / laddy, you are being dropped for team balance"

I'd prefer the emergencies to be legitimate backups. Unless Grundy is under some sort of injury cloud its pointless having a key ruckman as an emergency given the weather forecast

"We've got over a million supporters and we've got 80,000 members and since this has been a discussion point, the supporters have overwhelmingly come to the club to say 'we're really excited, and we want to be involved, and we want to know more',"

I don't know? You were the one that linked injuries into a discussion about attendance so only you could answer that question...

We have the selection right this week. I would've also been happy to see Goldsack, Macaffer and Wills come in for more big bodies.

But Bucks got it right.

The only call left will be on Mason Cox if the weather turns awful, but right now it is cold but dry. If it stays like this, then Cox stays in.

Nice stretch, read it again.

Very surprised at Pert's numbers, as in previous years membership numbers were prominent on our web site, can't find them on there.
Maybe lots of animals have been registered.

ridiculous. you never know what could happen. grundy could ping a calf in the warm up. then what? dont name witts as an emergency and we'd look like amateurs

I really hope that Aish can carry his good VFL form into the game tonight, seems like a genuine person and took his demotion very well.
Cloke too as we really need him going into the second half of the year.

I also hope and Aish prove the people who called him a Dud early in the Year Very Wrong
