Reckon I’ll hold Gawn this week, I’ve got 21, he has the bye. Gives me another week to hear how it is progressing.

If it’s only 3-4 weeks I can just play another rookie for 2 weeks and cover him with English, enables me to stick to my plan to get Stewart in within next 2 rounds and have a completed team for when POD Gawn returns.

But this could all change depending on how I score this week and upcoming cash league match ups as I need to continue to win in both.

How many trades you got left?

Clarke or durdin?
Durdin obviously gives me the warm body you’d think for at least a month if he doesn’t get slaughtered.
Clarke the greater scoring potential but is he likely to get games over the next few weeks?

I don’t want to go either but need to cash in on De Koning to facilitate other moves and have the trades up my sleeve to correct if need be
Wouldn't go near Durdin this week. Weitering due back Round 17 (pushing for R16 vs WCE but I doubt we risk him) at this stage and no guarantee he holds his spot after that. Will probably get a bath from Lynch as well

If you have to pick one, 100% Clarke

Anyone know the status of Darcy Parish in terms of the cork?

Supposedly a test, this week .....I'm betting, Parish misses this week, back R15

Jed Anderson > Harry Himmelberg. Dodgy cash maker to dodgy cash maker lol. Jed made me 62k in two weeks and made my season total 88 points higher than it would have been without him - 16 points in Round 12 and 62 points in Round 13. Not exactly my MVP but I 'preciate you, Jed, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Brodie > Skinner to fwds > Doch. Now Will, you might actually be my MVP, except that I got you by sidewaysing from Bowey when you were 330k, so others got even more of your delectableness. It may be crazy to trade you but it's either you or Darcy Cameron, and you have a shitty breakeven and the spectre of Nat Fyfe hanging over your head mate. I need to sacrifice a forward for a defender and your price is the highest relative to your actual worth to me. Now, I would wish you all the best in your future endeavours like I did Jed, but it would be a straight up lie. If you loved being a Grasscutter and you want to serve the team after your departure then I need you to spud it the flark up from here on in, mate. If you get an LTI I won't be glad but I probably won't cry about it. But thanks for your service

These 4 trades will give me 18 warm bodies this round.

Will look at dealing with Parish and Zorko next week.
So you’re gonna trade out the second highest averaging forward to Himmelberg who might only be good for a couple price rises, to then potentially also trade? Don’t see the point

Never intended to have Brodie as a keeper at the start of the season... With Fyfe back his scores will go South IMO.

HimmelSTUD will make $100K....

Will have 14 trades to ROughie Brodie back in if need be.

Himmelberg was moved to defence and was taking kick-ins in his 1st game down back off one of the best kicks in the competition. If that doesn't scream "a big tick of approval" from the new coach, I don't know what does. He's getting media attention now as well, heard his move to defence spoken about a couple times. Even if you don't want to include the North game, look at the Lions game the week before. It's done, believe it, he's the real deal. Himmelberg is Sicily 2.0. Get used to it, because we're all gonna pay $550k for him next year.

The only thing that could derail this is if GWS cop multiple injuries to their tall forwards (Hogan, Riccardi and Sproule). But they have Idun, Preuss, Flynn and Briggs who can play tall forward, so we should be OK.

Thanks, Wayne, for the serious response showing that you, at least, respect me as an SC intellectual (which I absolutely do not deserve haha).

And as for you two jokers, do you have any idea who your're dealing with?

Welcome to the board, nice team.

Just imo but no reason not too boost. Looks like you need one more defender? I haven't done the maths, but if you got someone a bit cheaper than Laird (Keays maybe?) would you have enough to get Daicos to a defensive premo you're happy with?
Just had a “full send” thought:
Gawn > Preuss (if named)
Jed > Laird
Clark > Clarke
Daicos > Doc

Leaves 19 on the ground and this team at the end of the byes:
D: Sicily Stewart Doch Sinclair Crisp Hewett (PaddyMac Wehr)
M: Neale Clarry Laird Miller Macrae Cripps Brayshaw Merrett (Clarke Owens Uwland)
R: Witts Preuss (Benning)
F: English Dunks Parker Brodie Cogs Cameron (Rosas Baldwin)

However it also leaves mid and forward benches a bit thin and only 7 trades to fix injuries and potentially upgrade Zerrett, Cameron, Preuss.

Too aggressive???

Who dares wins mate, go for it.

And who dares and loses can come back and melt on the board!

Himmelberg will make money no question but most people wont have the trades left to trade him in now and trade him out again in 4 weeks if youre trading him in now it should only be as a keeper and im not sure he is a keeper.

Wait until they start getting covid again.

Flu season about to begin as well.

We've just been through it in my house, easily the worst flu I've had. Not surprised so many players are missing games.
Everywhere here. Bunch of people at work, most with kids sick first, so schools appear to be the starting point for the people I know.
Check your team for any player with school aged kids and trade 'em right now
