You peeps probs think / know I’m crazy - but I think we are only 2 years away ….. things can change fast

I think alot will depend on the following

Owens/Pou going into the middle
Windy taking it up another level. I think the tagging is both good and bad. It's good for development in some ways but also limits his output.
Nas imo is basiclly borderline All/Aus now.Does he move up the ground? Perhaps with thte introductionos Arie and Sins staying back he does? who knows.

Arie taking the role of either FB or CHB

Finding another forward to pair with King.

Ultimately its those guys who we need to become elite for us to ush up the ladder.

Wilson continues tracking as expected ie in the next two years becomes our Max Holmes.

Nas King Windy Arie Owens

The way I see it ceilings for our guys are

Nas - Burgouyne
Owens - Warner
King - Coleman
Windy - Andrew Brayshaw
Pou - Bont '

Henry if he can stay injury free is an x factor. Starting to find some consistency.


Still have hopes for

• Collard
• Hall

It's not luck. We were self inflicted.

Mccartin was one of the unluckiest picks of all time.

Pick 1 a forward who showed some promise and then out of no where had concussion after concussion. Don't know what you call that.

It won’t help ..
One thing I noticed is that Port had some of anniversary or special game where club greats came down to watch (and I imagine speeches etc, like spuds game) So they played like they were crushed. I don’t know why clubs do this - having heavy speeches about the club history and having ex players and champs make speeches in the rooms. All it means is that the players are burdened and not free in spirit.
Anyway, back to next week, I think Port will react. Hopefully, we will too.

If oppo are playing with fire in their bellies and their best line up it’s actually good for us.
We don’t want wins where they are just cruising with the expectation of a win.
I don’t want to rise up the ladder on flakey iffy wins.
We either need to be legitimately good or developing and getting the high picks.

Hello everyone - just wondering how you have all been enjoying “bye week” - apart from some of
the usual way out melts over trades and coaches ?

I’ve actually enjoyed this weekend more than any other this season. Leisurely watched a couple
of games. Very relaxing and far less stressful when the Saints aren’t playing I reckon.

I’d like to see 3 byes a year from now on. I’m fully on board with the concept.
