I get the feeling that Scott rates match sim form during training sessions as much as he does vfl form.100% agree, If he doesn't play tomorrow it would be another example of our club being horrendous at developing young players.
We continue to see our kids barely feature in vfl because they are carryover emergencies or subs. We also seemingly see senior guys selected straight into the seniors after injury for the most part. Also in daveys case getting regular senior games despite never really having vfl form.
VFL standard has dropped off significantly, maybe I don’t blame him. There doesn’t seem to be much emphasis put into vfl wins or even the program in general.
Is it possible that Scott rates what’s he sees on the training track higher than vfl form?
