Only real trade i'm considering this week is Hurn to Haynes.


Dopey bald thighs needs to retire. Thought he'd come good for his stretch of games at home, nope. He cooked.

Brought in Steele this week as an upgrade even though he has the bye.

Need all 3 trades for next week to go Grundy > Gawn, Draper to rookie and upgrade Riccardi (hopefully).

I'm not known for making the sensible decisions .....but I'm trying hard, I really am

Simpkin to Brayshaw .....oh why did I trade Brayshaw out so quickly

One of the few things I've done right this year was hang on to A.Brayshaw.

Unfortunately I brought his spud bruh in 2 weeks ago G.Brayshaw and am already trading him out this week to Gaff.

Crouch !!! ......I'm his biggest critic, but he's changed his gamestyle dramatically in the last 3 games ....his SC scoring reflects that

He's been in my plans all week ......use a trade to bring him in for a non-playing bye player ....or save the trade for next week

I've done the research, and Crouch would be the one I'd get .....no chance a team bothers tagging against the Crows

Holding the trade this week means I'll bring in Selwood next week at $375K ......GEEL have kept him off the park in readiness for the finals .....

Close - O’Connor via Rivers into mids.

Gives me $206k in kitty.

Can do another downgrade next week to give me around $320k.

Which will allow double upgrade.

I blame Longmanure for trading Sprayshaw....

He had the kent on reduced minutes sitting on the bench counting how many teeth he's got left for the first 5 games, then turns into Chris feckin Judd for the run home the flog.

Any other season I would of been more patient.

Hard to give numbers but (vomit) M Crouch might be the best bet there, POD and has scored well recently. His brothers return might slow him though.

I'm considering Cripps > Taranto this week, he looked good last game out and Cripps doesn't.

JPK cheap but how hard are Sydney trying from here? The smallest knock and he'll be rested IMO.

I blame Longmanure for trading Sprayshaw....

He had the kent on reduced minutes sitting on the bench counting how many teeth he's has left for the first 5 games, then turns into Chris Judd for the run home the flog.

Any other season I would of been more patient.

Important comment .....it was a 17 game season then, so like you, you couldn't realistically play the long game


But I learn't my lesson after not holding Brayshaw .....so I held ....and held ....and held, Rozee

That worked out well ...

I have a nominally complete team (includes Chad) 6 trades and no cash left. Is it better to work on upgrading the best 22 or trying to add as another mid premo to loop for the last couple of rounds? Conisdering Bytel and B Smith to Andy Bray and a donut leaving 4 trades. Or could just downgrade Bytel and sit on the cash for a week.

Playing for overall ranking, not fussed about leagues.

Interested in peoples thoughts.

I'd upgrade Chad ....enough evidence there he's going to be a millstone

Apart from that, holding trades to cover players that maybe managed / injured would be a strategy I'd adopt

Playing for overall, so just gonna go for it this week and finish my side so I don't fall back too far with all of my outs.

Williamson -> Williams
Kelly -> McCluggage, McGrath, Coniglio or Curnow
McHenry -> Walters or Parish

Could trade Bont instead of Kelly and have more upgrade cash, but I have a feeling Kelly won't play against Adelaide as it would've only been nine days since a heavy concussion.

Thoughts on trades 2 and 3? Thinking McCluggage and Walters at this stage.

He's been a ****boy all year and i just know he's going to stiff everyone one last time by punching out a sexy score against his old Crow rivals.


And by sexy score, i mean 83 points.

I made the mistake of trading serong before Chad.

Serong plays the better role imo.

Cheers. Which option of trades do you think:

OPtion 1: trade out both > Merret + Riccardi (both on field)

OR

Option 2: trade out both > Dawson + Riccardi (which leaves $235k to bring in Gawn next week)

OR Option 3: just trade out Wingard and hope Serong is back to 80+

How likely is Riccardi to be selected again?

Long term or next game? He's taken like 20 marks in 2 games, kicked 4 last game. He's taken Finlayson's spot for now. If he keeps taking bulk marks and kicking goals, he stays in 100%. Might be managed if he's sore though

to answer similar questions I do a spreadsheet that shows what you score if you don’t make any trades. then see what points increase potential trade scenarios deliver. Account for risk and the benefit of coverage and it’s a good way to work out the best move.
