Such a weird game. The definition of a ying-yang performance. So so many players I loved today, love the way Liz goes at it. Improving game by game it feels. Sheldrick so clean, Campbell brilliant. Almost felt like our best players were our under 24 group of players. Had the gameplan to beat them, breakeven around the ball and beat them at ground level, pressure, corridor and in general ball movement. Should've been up by 20+ at HT.

But same old second half, slowly getting out of touch with the contested game and struggled to get it out of our back half. However lets be honest, it really was the goalkicking that cost us that game. Seemed to be exhausted halfway through the final term and couldn't move the ball at all but seemed to get our second wind after the Campbell goal.

But again, it feels like were building with our method, gameplan and intent ever since the lions loss. However, that is just such a harsh result, one of the worst games I have ever watched.

Fox never to be near the forward line ever again.
Rampe. Some of the dumbest decision making in the 2nd half cost us a few.

However Sheldrick was brilliant. Already having a bigger impact than the last nuggety mid we had in jarred Moore

The Swans made stormtroopers look like sharpshooters tonight.

So frustrating after so much effort with all the right things happening further up the field and especially the midfield which has been totally dismantled in the last 2 vs Cats games!
Better than a schlacking and shows we have shaken that monkey off, but this GK inaccuracy needs to be addressed now above all - priority #1 - red alert!!

The more you get over it , I just feel sorry for the players.

They deserved to win but basically stuffed up one part- the key part

Yep individuals did some poor things and some leaders weren't there.

But we saw young stars take another step and flashes of others.

lot needs to improve , we have a few who have a reputation beyond what they deliver .

With 4 mins to go getting a draw was good, but we should have won.


Teams improved, Geelong I still think aren't that good hence why I tipped us, think they are going to struggle to play finals too

Sheldrick is staying in the midfield we're a better team when he plays there.
Campbell has to be high up in our B&F, the kid has finally found his feet and is shining.

Our forwards....need work because we're not making finals with this lot. Too many missed opportunities when the pressure is on. Does my head in.

Mills had only 3 less touches but he had more contested possies, was more efficient and had less turnovers

But parker gets the praise and Mills let us down..

I’m mystified as to the desire to play finals on this site . We look miles off the best teams And I’m ok with that because it doesn’t feel like we’re ready for that. But I hate not giving it a red hot go. They did today. It let themselves down terribly
