that's the one I was thinking of when I I originally said it.

we don't have to ignore it, there's an argument that if ROB plays every game from here he's had a better year than Barlows 13 games that year

There is an argument, but since ROB hasn't played every game either makes it somewhat a moot point, expecially since he missed the first 2 games so wouldn't have been a Rd1 pick in most teams, hence you would have had to use a trade to bring him in. Getting an R3 in wasn't a priority in Rd3 either, most people didn't bring him in until Rd4-5. Also ROB wasn't a bottom priced rookie either as Barlow was. We literally sidewaysed him to a premo mid when he got injured in Rd13. Will never see a rookie do what he did that year.

yeah I remember the Barlow year, was great.

But ROB came in in Rd 3, so it was nearly the perfect round for anyone that didn't start with the Gawn/Grundy combo and picked a dud 2nd ruck to trade down.

If he plays every game from here that's 20 games at about 100 average from 232k... its right up there with the best ever, if not actually the best.

ROB on my bench is just a travesty, I wanted to captain him on my bench but sadly that's not how it works. Genuinely wondering if I'm better off trading Gawn and unleashing ROB against English in grand final week.

Gawn will probably come out and have a game tomorrow that will make you remember how good he is, adding more confusion to your situation.

No one bought him in blind in Rd3 to start him as their R2 though.

those with Sauce maybe did it straight away...if I remember right they had a Thursday night game as well so was a loophole opportunity to trade down to him and make him emg and see how he scored. I remember strongly considering it myself with Goldy, but looking at my trade history I got him Rd 5 for 40k more.

Sam Jacobs is stuck on 198 games, I think the crows will try and get him to 200, would not be surprised if Walker is rested and Jacobs in.

I won't be touching Rocky next year. The bloke will score 150 then score like shit the next few weeks. I don't want to go though the rollercoaster again next year.

Ok, eight minutes into the second quarter, and I'm pretty happy with my decision to go with Curnow instead of Murphy.

(And I've probably just jinxed myself by saying that...)
