He was slow but I'm guessing our forwards gave him nothing.
I'd be shocked if they weren't all running back to the goal square.

The work rate of Brayshaw is unbelievable to watch.

Clayton Oliver on the other hand is happy just to plod along doing next to nothing.

He doesn't have the tank for the midfield anymore. Chuck Sparrow in the bin and make him a defensive forward already.
He would get pissed off in previous years and start yelling at teammates in there and do something about it himself, now he just stands around wondering what the **** is going on like the rest of them.

Anyone noticed how when the cameras cut to Longmuir after our goals he looked pissed off but when they cut to Goodwin after a Freo goal he just looked confused.

Dunno if that's the "norm" for Tholstrup but he had a bad few bad minutes there. Slow AF and lack of intensity.
Intensity has never been an issue with him. Just having a bad one, as is the entire team.

100% the difference is ridiculous, you can put up with Braysaw's kicking not being great when you see him charge up and down the ground like he does. Thats what a leader and real A grade midfielder looks like.

Watch that last goal when the ball was at Melbournes 50. Freo ran the ball out and Tholstrup was in a slow motion jog. He could have impacted that stoppage and stopped that goal if he had any heart.

I'd cop the loss because we all knew that they'd smash us out of the middle

But the lack of run, constantly broken tackles. Relying on the old bomb it long when their rucks or defenders are set, there's no bail out Gawn to go to anymore you ****s, and truth be told you've over relied on the bombs for years Gawn or not
