I get the feeling edwards and menzie get subbed for each other. Edward’s couldn’t be fit enough for 4 quarters of league footy, after so little pre season.

Yeah menzie had a crap year last year but in 2023 he was a second leading goal kicker and he does crack in and work hard

Im not totally sure Scott sees Menzie as just a forward.

Redman plays tall and id say Roberts spends some time at half back aswell. Side looks a bit more even from the back half imo

It is but him having the ball in his hands at half back is not the worst thing either

they did it vs collingwood i think & he played decently, “looked” better than down forward that’s for sure

Menzie has had a good pre season but he is still pretty poor below the knees for a small bloke. Did like the fact his pressure looked a lot better against the Dogs.

Maybe lucky in the opinions of the peeps in the stands but given he was the second best pressure player and had 5 tackles I50 and created two goals by hand he was not really going to be left out.

More on his disposal. Cost us but not the only one. Hopefully he picks up the pace of the game the more he plays.
