Just finished watching.
Edwards, wow. I felt bad for Jaiden Hunter but it looks like Rosa's got a gem. Cop that, Dodo.
Maybe Balders will be unlucky.
Pleased with Shiel, Perkins, Tsatas, Martin, Draper (yes. Let's go.).
Reid, Bryan, Caddy, Kako, Roberts, El Hawli, Jones should improve.
Encouraging signs. The wind made some people look sloppy.

Where did el hawli play? Have a feeling his speed will be required forward 50. Outside of Kako there isn’t much leg speed with Davey going down.

Was a horrible day to be a winger though. Wet footy and that ground is narrowerer than Kardinia
Just watched the second quarter, and thought Duursma was outstanding on the wing. Ball shoots forward inside our 50 on his opposite wing. He holds his width and pushes deep inside 50. Opposition intercept marks and immediately looks to switch, but they can’t becuase Duursma is so deep. 5 minutes later same thing happens, they try to exit 50 along boundary line but he’s there waiting which results in a sketchy kick into the corridor.
Man I hope he gets a good run at it, we desperately have needed good wingers for so long.

Personally I don’t like Draper and Bryan. We’re too big across the ground. I’d 100% be dropping one of them for another runner.

think it depends on the mix we bring in. wright + jones as well would be a big liability, but if draper is playing primarily in the f50 it’ll be “mostly fine” from my perspective, so long as he’s competitive
