defence has actually been damn good. schoey/spang/emac all very strong in the contest.

coxy has been great, trying his guts out. thats more like it.

need to get NN into the game, i think his clearance work could be a major key in winning this game.

as long as we get the ball into the hands of Strijk/Shuey more often, we have a chance of winning.

I am 100% sure Naitanui is on more than the four they've credited him with. Those handballs out of the pack must be hard to spot by the stats guys, or the umpires who think he throws them.

Cox - very good. Eagles best player in 1st half.
Schofield, Mackenzie, Spangher all very good.

Mcginnity, Ebert, Swift, Lynch, Kennedy and Rosa absolutely terrible.

Here's a novel idea.

Build a team around one player. Instruct every player on the field that every play must go through him. Instruct the ruck that every tap must go to him.

Well stuff me, even a player with no hurt factor whatsoever would win the b&f in those conditions. 30 posessions a week and every single posession is a complete butcher. Ever single one of them. His good mate Adam Butcher Selwood is no better.
