If peeps can afford him, at 850k it's a big stretch, plus I'm aiming at getting him in ASAP, 2 more weeks after next week is rnd 23
Oh Boy...just had a look at BE's and to get Jelly in I'll need Sicily to score over 80 and Hind to score over 45 to afford the trade....tight as a Nun's thingo

I'm not convinced with Dunkley, so I'm going to ditch him for houli and lose RO'B for Gawn as he should go big against the Tigs 2nd tier ruck.

Gives me enough cash to upgrade Sicily > Jelly next week. At 4% ownership is a great POD

Id probably rather do a Mrouch up to Jelly at the moment rather than a Smith up to Whitfield.

But a week is a long time in Fantasy footy.

In a perfect world id wait a week to make sure he's up to speed and full fitness.

Do I go oit on a limb?
1. Ziebell to Greene
2. Ziebell to Treloar
3. Ziebell to Taranto?

Personally Im holding Ziebell for 1 more. He's already lost his value so worth more to hold and see if he steadys.

If he cant get 90+ against the hawks tho he'll be getting culled.

Wouldnt get Greene. He did just become a 110+average player overnight. In a purple patch but it will end.

Treloar the pick of the bunch if you do pull the trigger though... GUN.

Agreed.
Greene has been really good with the new role. But if Jelly back that will be unhelpful for him.

Crazy to trade out Dunkley this week?
Libba and the Bulldogs draw??

Would give me 1,480,000 if I trade him and Rozee.
Likely grab Crisp, then 780k for anyone else.

Alternatively:
Balta downgrade, Rozee to Crisp
This is my conundrum, I know Dunks had an ordinary game last week, but I'm not sold on his CBA's with Libba back. It obviously makes no sense to trade Dunks out after 1 poor game, but with shit cash gen and no viable way of making upgrades my choice is to cash in on him

oh god just so many spuds, don't know who to get rid of first. Getting cheap premos to remove rookies on field earlier has backfired horribly, these "premos" are scoring worse than rookies ffs.
O.Baker downgrade will give me the cash to rectify one of these mistakes, but which one?

A) Hack Jones to Whit or Daniel/Stewart/Laird
B) Sicily to Whit or Daniel/Stewart/Laird
C) Guthrie to Whit or Daniel/Stewart/Laird
D) Ziebell to Marshall or Dusty, gives me lot more cash for next week but probably not as big as of an upgrade.

I wanted to get rid of Sicily this week, he's certainly gone next week.

*edit...if RO'B stays in this week then Sicdawg is gone

those trading Dunks...he had 120 in week 18 when libba was also there. Last week he was just a spud fantasy player, still had 26 touches but just one tackle and 2 marks. He's had 27 possession games where he scored 120, last week he was just a spud for some reason. If you have nothing else to do then fair enough, he is way overpriced considering that there are in-form fwds like Dusty and Greene who could match him at a much lower price. But I have to wait until I am totally spud-free before I can get fancy with those types of moves.

As much as I hate Sicily, he is much more likely to ton up than Hack Jones and Guthrie. For that reason, Ziebell is probably safe as well. Jones and Guthrie also have tough match ups this week so I'm inclined to get rid of them. Also because they are unique and it hurts more when the spud up. Having to keep one of Jones or Guthrie is a choice I wouldn't wish on anyone, unfair

Houli and Oliver or Clark and Taranto

Houli and Oliver or Clark and Taranto
First two surely.
Just gotta pick the player that'll finish the year with a month of 120's like Bont last year.
This year it could be Oliver, Yeo, Merrett...

If it is Oliver, then he could be up for a Sydney tag grand final week (league setup pending) which sucks but gotta get there first.

I held Dunkley while Libba was in the side earlier this year which hurt, when Libba was out Dunks came good, now Libba is back I see Dunks getting less time at CBA's. Yes, a massive risk, but with Jelly coming back I don't see any teams being able to afford him.

Dunks did go 127 against the Lions earlier this year, while Libba (83) was in the team. Admittedly, it was at Mars though..

Been looking at stats for Libba, Dunkley and Mitch Wallis to see if there's any correlation.

Dunkley's out put shot up in round 7 and he's been averaging 129 since then up until last week. As against an average of 77 for the 1st 6 games.

Libbas output dropped from Av 98 for the 1st 5 games to an Av of 68 over the next 7 games til he got injured.

Mitch Wallis got injured in round 9 and I think it was a combination of him and Dunkley that led to Libbas drop in scoring.

Maybe Libba was carrying an injury from round 6 which led to a role change for Dunkley in round 7? I really don't know and if you add crazy Bevo into the mix then I'm even less sure of what's going to happen. Guess I'm trying to find justification for Jettisoning a player that's been averaging 129.

We must come from the same fantasy school... been horrible, should have just waited on the rookies longer.

Guthrie out for mine.. Wouldn't matter who too

Ziebell & Witts —> Ross (DPP Danger) & Gawn

Or

Ziebell & Cameron —> mid under $730k (?yeo) & Langlands

Currently leaning 1 as I still have Logue, Hind, Snelling (and Cameron) to cull so may not need Langlands cash gen.

Thoughts?

When Gawn was out a week I trade him to Witts. I really don't know whether to bother trading back.

Witts has done nothing wrong

Last 4 next 4

Witts 106, 104, 97, 126 Grundy, Stef Martin, McEvoy, GWS

Gawn out, 105, 101, 128 Richmond, Grundy, Sydney, Goldstein

The Gawn matchups against Richmond and Sydney look tasty but he has Grundy and Goldstein as the other 2.

The Witts matchups with Stef Martin and GWS look good with Grundy and McEvoy.

Really similar run home imo

If you don't need Langlands cash gen. then I'd trade Cameron to a 170k rook which would give you 780k to spend on a mid, or a bit more cash to go with another upgrade next week. Witts could wait. So #2 for me
