Problem with Long is he's built to be able to push off defenders and burst for kicks... but he's timid and kind of passive and always looking for handballs... short handballs too....
He should be using his body to tackle hard and burst through tackles himself.
He's fit to play so Pies can use him due to the undercooked players from injuries.

Gawn is the best marking ruck in the contest. Have you seen him literally carry the defensive marking for Melbourne. Without him they would be smashed every week.

We are still missing a lot of targets by foot, I think when the pressure drops off a bit we gotta keep running and running.
Carlton cannot go with us but if we allow them to control the footy especially at ground ball we are in strife.
