We got ******* smashed and you weren't embarrassed by the performance? Is the bar now that ******* low?

I thought we exceeded expectations. Definitely happy about where we're at.

We're bottom of the ladder and you're happy where we're at? Are you that ******* deluded?

Yes, I have really enjoyed this season so far.

Of course we can be happy with a strong performance against a team looking to beat us by 100+ points for a top 2 spot.

Good way to end the season, with a bit of fight.

Doesn't change that we are the worst list in the comp. But unless you want to be perpetually angry you have to look at our performances within the context of the strength of our list.

Ranting about people finding positives in a game simply due to the fact that we got "smashed" is such a simplistic way of analysing something. I mean we have had a terrible year, we have the worst list in the AFL and we are bottom 2. Everyone understands that and everyone is frustrated about it. That doesn't, however, mean that there are zero positives whatsoever as a result of the current predicament the club is in. I and many others have found solace in the smaller things this season such as a good performance from a talented youngster or a good quarter of footy in which we challenged a good team(Even if they smashed us in the other three). I find it silly that you look at people doing this and automatically jump to the conclusion that they are somehow content with the bigger picture.

Other than Cutler I really struggle to see that any of our cubs have come on this year and are taking responsibility in their position. Robbo and Rich did enough but the gap between them and the rest of our mids is too big. Rocky, Hanley and Zorro tried but they weren't having much influence.

Zorko would be in the frame for the AA squad. Has had a pretty good year. Has certainly 'done enough' IMO.

I'm a 30 year member, this season has been our worst season ever, but today wasn't our worst performance, we had a real dip against a good side. Our young players are showing some good signs and we had a crack. I wasn't embarrassed.

Did I suddenly get transported into a bizarro universe? We got hammered by 10 goals.

Maybe when I wake up tomorrow I'll somehow get back to my universe where supporters find it unacceptable when we get absolutely smashed.

Your reaction makes it seem like you've been in that bizzaro universe for the last three seasons and have just returned to watch your first game since 2013..

Yes of course. Was referring to the game jist played with what I said though. Didn't think it came together for him to have much influence yesterday.
