Most of the damage was in that first 3 minutes, they just shot out of the blocks and it felt like our boys thought the game was over at QT.

Eventually got the game back on even terms but gee was that a bit soul crushing after such a great first quarter.
You mean they thought it was over even after the Round 0 Carlton loss, the Swans dominating the second quarter against us, plus countless others... It's so predictable. We better respond.

Harris looks like he doesn’t know whether he should be defending or playing the interceptor role and as such isn’t really doing much of either. As said already put Joyce onto Hogan and let Harris focus on what he does well.

At least we did not have one of those 0 goal quarters.
Not a great 2nd quarter but if we want top 4 we have to dig deep in each game.

Neale, McCluggage and Fletcher need to lift big time.
Wilmot and Andrews not getting much of the ball in defense either

A stint in the ruck for Daniher would not hurt either. Get him more involved.
Four kicks so far and we know what happened with 3 of them.

Obviously GWS will want to play a quick game in the second half and we will be trying to play a conservative game. IF GWS get a run on in second half i will be really worried

Coaching has been real good lately but the coaches got found out that quarter. Zorko getting dictated to by Daniels, Harris looking confused as to his role and Big O and his mids not competing. Needed Ashcroft in the middle more when he is going like this.

They've shown great resilience lately so cant see them losing this.

Don't know if it's been mentioned on the coverage but I think we had a slight wind advantage in the first quarter, but it's swing right around now, very definitely favouring the Giants' goal in the third quarter

Watching the dance down in front of me between Joyce, Andrews, Hogan and Gruzewski is fascinating. Andrews wants to play on Hogan but the Giants are trying to get Joyce onto Hogan. 0-0 so far I think!
Its worked against a few teams in freeing Hogan. Feels like it risks making it a constant 2 on 2 and wasting space for forwards
