He’s not a forward but let’s be serious Grundy is an A grade AFL player at his best - the type of player that can make a difference in finals.

Yes he is playing a different role but if we can somehow slot him into our side and get the balance right it’ll be huge for our finals prospects.

The West Coast debacle has been such a blight on an already unequal fixture. Sides like Carlton (percentage 117.2) who have played them twice probably have an extra 10 - 12 % points on other clubs who weren’t afforded that courtesy. In a tight finals race for some that’s going to be the clear difference between making the eight or not, or getting a home final in week 1 or not.
