Sides like Carlton (percentage 117.2) who have played them twice probably have an extra 10 - 12 % points on other clubs who weren’t afforded that courtesy. In a tight finals race for some that’s going to be the clear difference between making the eight or not, or getting a home final in week 1 or not.
