Those last couple of moments with a clever outside of the boot kick for Melksham’s goal, and finding the space to have a shot at goal were like Laurie’s VFL play.

Hopefully that’s enough for Laurie to believe he’s up to this level and cut down on those nervous fumbles he had earlier.
