We've been doing this all year I reckon. Just haven't had the cattle and when we do they're coming off injury.

If we can keep the younger/middle aged guys fit we'll be much more competitive next year, even with the elder statesmen retiring.

Sure, but not worth cheering a loss when the difference is just having pick 2.

Nobody can say how good Reid will be. Number 1 pick is rarely better than the players chosen closely afterwards.

At the end of the day, you need to make a good pick and you need to develop them well. Having one less option doesn't make that big a difference compared to having pick 1 or pick 21 for example.

Pressure disrupted Adelaide's game and then cut them up with superior disposal skills the other way.


Petruccelle would have to be at the top of Kelly's Christmas card list right now. He may not be getting many possessions himself, but his efforts to block and use pace to cut-off those who are marking Kelly is a large part of why he [Kelly] has been able to get off the leash recently.
