I think Hore, Tomlinson, Melksham and McDonald are the only players whose contracts expire at the end of this season. So last chance to pull out a big game for whatever the future brings.

Would have thought Jefferson in, Turner or Petty back would have made more sense - but oh well.Lever out, Woewodin in.
Tmac and Tommo the key pillers tonight then. Hopefully that encourages a bit more run off half backLever out, Woewodin in.
Gawn the last remaining AA from 2021.Odd watching a Melbourne game with no May, Lever, Petracca or Oliver. Kinda keen to see if they play any differently
We should rest him and throw Petty in the ruck againGawn the last remaining AA from 2021.

I've been on the Lever train for a long time but I like this idea.Captaincy would look good on Rivers in a couple of years
Lever is great with directing players and is a good media performer, but isn't really a 'lead by example' type considering he consistently gets beaten when he needs to be accountable for a man (and has some major brainfades regularly). Not really an inspirational leader in that regard, but can see why some are keen on him.I've been on the Lever train for a long time but I like this idea.
