I worry about you sometimes. When will you let the prince go.Hope one of our players has 11 disposals so I can burst with excitement.

Who comes in for Rich?
Well done to Evans but really want to see McStay forward with Walker and Schache pretty sure we would score over a 100 points most weekendsAlready confirmed that it's Evans. Straight into the midfield.

Haha fare enough. When he has his Patty Karnezis "I am retiring at age 23 because I have accomplished everything I wanted to in footy" moment.
If Scache gets 11 touches and kicks 6-7 goals I'll burst with excitementHope one of our players has 11 disposals so I can burst with excitement.
Hammo reporting in the paper that the Suns believe we are keeping both Rich and Rocky safe for the Suns game.Rockliff out, Rich out, blah, blah blah..... What on earth could go wrong?!
I still prefer the side with McStay forward but it would be nonsensical to move him out of defence right now for a variety of reasons:I'm very happy with McStay down back. Developing very nicely. I reckon we'd be too slow and our forward pressure would suffer if we had McStay alongside Schache and Walker.
I agree, but it would be very tempting to move him forward next week against a GC side that only includes 4 genuine talls.I still prefer the side with McStay forward but it would be nonsensical to move him out of defence right now for a variety of reasons:
1. He's doing an ok job there.
2. We have just lost our best tall defender and need to fill a gap.
3. We're trying to teach him to play a role.
4. McStay tends to fade out of games and a defensive role helps keep him switched on.
5. Our forward structure doesn't seem to need fixing right now.
6. Consistency of role is important for young players.
7. This is only the third game of the year.
8. Dawson is not a like for like replacement, particularly against a tall side like Geelong.
Despite my personal preference for his long term role, I hope we give McStay at least half a year stationed in defence. He offers a lot down back that we haven't had in a tall defender since Leppa and DJ. He can take a mark. He can run off his opponent. He's good at ground level. His skills are above average for a player his size.
Anyone strong enough to tune in this week? Could be a back to 2012 or 2015 moment.
