In: Scrimshaw, Wingard, Morrison
Out: Nash, Maginness, Bramble

Nash has to be skating on think ice only the 8 pressure acts and only the one tackle, we need more pressure through the middle and he's just not getting it done.
Maginness if he tags LDU stays but if he's not tagging he doesn't offer much else.
Morrison and Scrimshaw to restructure out back end ball movement, allow CJ little more freedom as well.
Impey free to spend more time forward in a defensive role.
agree on Nash, might be back to sub for him

CMac, a player who actually trained the house down and was easily one of our best performed during the preseason period is now at risk of being dropped, unfortunately.

It's almost as if not performing in actual games holds more weight then preseason form at Waverley. Fancy that.

shocked face
Since when was it not mate? I am puzzled??

The problem with form at training is the quality of the opposition.

Scrim is a good intercepter and kick but his defending can be iffy. He is also a quiet guy on field.

Says who? What? Just because he loses the odd marking duel against forwards taller? So says some in here who dont understand his role? His work rate to block, spoil, get into position to intercept, get back and then get into space to me, is exceptional. Defense includes surety by foot and hand, cool calm and collected in traffic. AND, hitting targets up field and making the right decisions with ball use. Given a good run with injuries he will be looking at close to or in AA team in the not too distant future IMO. Better player than Lever at least…Sam Mitchell says hes exceptional! Mitchell: “He’s a fantastic player for us”

If we are relying on Harry Morrison to come in and save us.....

Well, I'll happily fall on my sword if he does!

I have never argued that he is not a good player for us. He has some fantastic attributes and i have even mentioned the fact that we will be a better side when he has forced his way back in. His role however also includes defending

Given we just copped an 80 point flogging I'm not sure anyone is relying on Harry Morrison to save us. That's a pretty liberal interpretation of what others are saying.

If you're setting that bar for him to exceed it's almost like you want to be disappointed.

Relax...

Should have said 'improve us' not 'save us'... Happy?

Out - Blanck, Greene, Kosi, Bramble, Nash
In - DGB, Wingard, Scrimshaw, Morrison, Brockman

That’s 5 VFL level players for 5 AFL players all with upside ( maybe beside Morrison)
Unpopular opinion here, but even Wingard had not provided anything before his injury apart from one awesome goal which is very rare from his Hawthorn time.

Would keep Nash, his presence is point of difference in midfield. Kosi, not so sure, ball delivery in F50 makes it bit hard at times.

I would add Impey to the out list. We need more defenders than just runners who can't defend.
