I am slightly peeved that we have the six day break and are the travelling side.

Your right Salim, they made us open the season a week earlier than usual and then made us have 15 days off before our next game just so we lose our round one momentum. Plus none of the players who played in the season opener were allowed to play in the WAFL last weekend.

Now we have to travel on a 6 day break in order to replay the Grand Final.

As the departing hairy Greek has repeated time and time again "If you carping softies don't want fixturing which is overseen by my personal accountants go support a chess team!"

As long as we have a good win this week there will be plenty of interest in this game. GF replay, Hawks unravel the premiership flag at home (in front of us), our revenge for the GF, are they still the team to beat by beating us again, GF preview ? There will be plenty to go and see

Who cares, it shouldn't be a big deal its still early everyone should be fresh.. personally I think its great we are in such a big game on a Friday night. Especially at the MCG.

Lake will be missing for them so that's a massive out from the gf. Its a great chance to see whether we've improved over the off season. Hawks will be coming off a tricky game against the dons, who I think will be in the 4 this year.

I think any team should be honoured to open up the season. Same goes for a Friday night game, especially for Fremantle. I never hear teams lobby for Sunday afternoon games. Friday is the one clubs want to be involved in.

6 day break, Meh! Surely there are bigger things to worry about. Like, when is Fyfe going to cut his hair?

Awesome! Cheers for the info Seppo. I'm already looking forward to this game... should be an awesome one. 6 day break shouldn't really affect anyone at this time of year, so there's no excuses.
