Round 3 trades

I have Rockliff, Rich, Gawn, Barlow and Harwood on the chopping block. I have no idea what to do. I copied Yellow Feathers' trades and it felt good. But I'm not sure.

You ever see that bumper sticker: "Don't Follow Me - I'm Lost!" ;):p

I have no idea what to do with Max Gawn.

Going Bartel > JJ, leaves me with Gawn's 478k + 5k, meaning my options are limited... Lobbe looks more likely that Gawn to score 80+, but at the same time that's a very sideways trade. Could take a risk with Tippett, but I don't think he's gonna score 116 week on week. Options anyone?

rockliff is out, will drop in price more as he will have a large breakeven.
Harwood to a can of pepsi next

The more I think about it the more I'm considering keeping Rocky and Barlow. They will bounce back. I need to stick with my plan of maximising $. Not sure if jumping off based on 2 rounds and jumping on premos that have gone up 60k already fits that strategy.

Rocky -> Hunter
Simpkin -> Mitchell

$78k in the bank.

Will likely change, just nice to see those big numbers on the ground. Those mid pricers came back to bite this week.

Chopping block -

RockLobster
Barlow
Harwood
Simpkin
Hickey (traded for Berger last week...would prefer to give the $14k back and get the +7 points and used the trade elsewhere)

Watch out for projected price rises on the android app - had Hickey increasing by $50k if he made his projected score.

Relevant? - http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-04-04/rodney-eade-to-apply-the-sixweek-rule-to-avoid-injury we'll see...

Not sure if Brouch is going to be what I expected. Thinking his fitness isn't quite there. 67% TOG down from 77% last week. Not an urgent trade but he might need another preseason to be the fantasy monster I was expecting.

With Barlow - just how much of a sadist is Ross Lyon? Surely they can't persist with their current game plan.

Rocky is tricky. The instinct is to trade. See how he pulls up I guess. Last time he played North he was horrible - tagged out of the game and gave away 4 frees. Only had 53 points (his lowest score in years not including this weekend)

edit: Nuh you have to get rid of them. Maybe not in the limited trades format but I think it'd be a big gamble holding those two.

If Rocky plays I may hold him but Barlow is just too inconsistent, not worth the risk of losing even more cash imo.

On the Rocky+Barlow out wagon too. Bloody Lyon selling us all upstream haha.

Have $89K to spare so was looking to get in Hanners and either Z merrett or Zorko. Opinions? I already have Titch and Hunter. Was keen on ablett but put off with the 6 week rest that Eade was committing too...

Hope Ross helps us make the decision easier and drop Barlow..

I want to keep the faith on Rocky and Duncan too (despite their terrible starts before their injuries)

Wished I stuck with my gut and brought in Titch last week instead of getting sucked into the hype-train of "must-have", "price about to explode" Sam Gray. Now have to pay an arm and a leg for Titch (probs need to cull a midpricer to a base rookie! to get the $$)

Also any other Dan Howe owners out there who are bitterly disappointed after keeping the faith? What are you doing with him?
Didnt really get involved did he? Just hovering around the ball, not demanding to get involved in the +6s link up plays.. might keep him if named as Clarko did say he will give the kids a chance, but probs referring more to Sicily/JOR/Langford who looked so much better.

Anyways terrible week crashing back to earth plummeting from ~2300 rank to ~24k.. :(

Devon Smith for Jack Martin?

Is this the start of a sustained run of fantasy scoring form for Martin or has he just had 2 very good games before going back to averaging 70-75?

Selwood out for someone, perhaps Titch if I can afford the upgrade, might try and hold Rocky if I can but not too sure. Those two are definitely on my chopping block.

Everyone else looking reasonable at this stage.
