Ah shit the more I think about things the more I talk myself out of stuff. Yeah keep Zorko he will score big against GC and Dees, Karnezis wont wear green twice.

Last year...
Zorko had 2 of his worst scoring games against GC and Melbourne - 69 and 71.
Karnezis wore the green vest twice in a row in round 5 and 6.

He is untaggable.
Lower did a pretty damn good job in NAB 4, and the "it was only a pre-season game" excuse isn't a good one when you look at how seriously both teams took that match. I'm not saying Lower will succeed, but he's a fair chance.

Been going back and forth on so many combinations to trade this week. I really wish we could have unlimited trades each week but still a total of 44 for the season. I've still got so much dead wood in my side it hurts to look.

At this stage, gone with Mitchell & Redpath for Moloney & Dwyer.
However it leaves me exactly $0 in the bank and still got Van Unen, Currie & Hutchings doing SFA on the pine.
Bit of a sneaky suspicion Hutch may come in this week though. Shuey & Zorko get a reprieve for one more week given their games this weekend. If they continue to stink then they'll be gone next week.

Thoughts??

Question: out of Varcoe and McCaffer, who has the higher potential price increase? I'm looking to trade one of them out for Dwyer to make some cash...thanks!

Macaffer is half Varcoes price, has a BE of -38 compared to Varcoes 28. Trading out Varcoe will give you more cash now and keeping Macaffer will give you more cash in the future.

Fair enough but I don't think Cotchin took any NAB game serious and was just out there for minutes. Jones had him til half time and then he exploded.

I guess we'll see this Sunday though.

The second trade is the way to go if you have to choose one. Dwyer has put on a couple of strong performances and his js looks set for the next few games. Ideally you would want to keep caff, but Dwyer will make more coin in the short term. You'll have to address the Yarren problem eventually though.

Thanks for the reply. What about this one, Kane Mitchell for Dwyer in the midfield, that way I keep Macaffer and get Dwyer's price rise. But I also have the option of Ollie Wines which is very, very tempting.

I dont understand why people are trading in Westhoff
He has had two soft games against team that will finish 17 and 18 respectfully

I would wait (take the price hit) and see how he perfroms in the hotly contested showdown
if he scores well in that, then i think he becomes more fantasy relevant

People who are trading him in, what are your reason(s) behind it ?

Jump on Travis Varcoe before his value goes up this week. And I think jump on Jake Neade from Port Adelaide. He was really good against the Giants last week in his second game.

I cant remember the numbers, but I suspect he has a really low BE. I saw some numbers last night that said that he's predicted to rise to about 475K, while Buddy falls to 495K. If you had Buddy, you could swap to Westhoff, gain 120 - 140K to upgrade elsewhere, then swap back next week for only 20K. With the extra trades this year, you can (potentially) afford to do this.

Bingo!

Why trade? Because Wesoff can be the sub and STILL go up in price, but Buddy has to get 150+

So say Westoff gets....70+? Then you make a big fat load of $$ and do exactly what Ted said above. It's not like Trades are an issue if you have a half decent team already.
