I live 15 minutes from the G and haven't seen any of this hail. It's been raining consistently and picked up for a while now down to a consistent drizzle. The wind has died down a lot since this Morning. Going to be very wet and raining but maybe not stormy conditions.

I just remembered why I moved from Melbourne to Brisbane all those years ago. I hated the joint. Only reason for being there is cause you were born there. Couldn't escape fast enough. Queensland is such a beautiful State. Go the maroons...and the Lions!!

It's not too bad at my place now that the hail storm has passed, so hopefully the worst of the weather has come and gone. Still not pleasant conditions but a lot better than it was 20 mins ago.

No need for a retractable roof. SUN IS OUT! What I really want is a non-retractable sense of optimism to prevail today. Boys are on the field and they look sharp.
