Not sure what people were expecting when the wooden spooners are playing the premiership winners.

The thing that irks me though is that I don't mind if the young players make mistakes. It's the fact that experienced players like Mayes, Gardiner and Mathieson are just playing dumb footy.

Those sort of quarters can hurt young teams. The importance of the clowns with the whistles and the remote, getting it right is illustrated perfectly in that opening 15 minutes.

I’m not sure what’s worse; the umpiring, sam Mayes, or getting roo commentate our match again. I’m usually one to have a crack at the umpiring, but bloody hell there was some shocking calls/non calls. Overall this is just ******* aweful to watch!!

Would prefer Cox over Mayes... at least for the moment we can put his mistakes to youth and he offers some excitment... Mayes has peaked and unfortunately for us again as a top ten pick... that peak wasn’t at all high
