My young Pies should have beaten the ageing Cats last week, but ran outa gas last qtr. Lions should win, tho down there at Sleepy Hollow, its a very hard ground to win at, the cats know every blade of grass there, and are easy a 4 goal better team on their own dunghill. Close game, Lions by 4 points. IMHO.

Richy you won't see this but I remember when you joined us. I had you pegged as a future captain, my excitement at your initial games being such that I made pronouncements before you'd managed to really settle in. You've stuck fat during very trying times at this club. You've shown your loyalty and commitment to us when you could've left for more successful pastures. Us supporters love you Richy. Here's hoping Dad's Army get bent over and that their cheating umpires have no influence on the game and that you kick a massive bomb from the centre square when the games in the balance and we win. Stewart out is massive. One of their top 5 most important players easily.

I don't think he's a great lockdown defender, certainly sets up a lot of their structures behind the ball though which is big. Will be interesting to see who is used as the second ruck, Fullarton might have an advantage in the ruck when he's in there.

I’m surprisingly excited. This game will be a good indicator if we have taken the next step or if we are still in the “also ran” bracket.
