Dropping Fort should get Joe more involved in the game when he pinch hits in the ruck. I hope Dev gets the sub role, and that when he does come on plays as an inside mid. He's wasted on the wing.

Don't know how I feel about this game. I think every outcome possibility is in play. A big win, close win, close loss and a hiding all on the cards. I do believe the effort will be there, skills n polish need to be as well.

IMO game will be decided in first 10 minutes. We come out hard I think we can scrap a win. If we are like deer in the headlights expect a 10 goal flogging.

This is D Day. One of the biggest home and away games the club will have under Fagan. Play well we can work our way back into the season. If we go missing again I fear it will be a long wasted season.

If the worst happens and we are 1-3 tonight the season is nowhere near over. 19 more weeks of the season after tonight and a much more favourable draw in the next few weeks as well.

I agree we'll know early . Firstly with how we line up and secondly the energy and intent. I think we'll get the second at least initially and hopefully that builds through the game and doesn't fall off.

How's the weather looking? If it's wet I think it will help your bigger bodied midfielders. Big O gets it going in your direction and the lads bashing it forward quicksmart.

A run of wins regardless of competition will definitely assist with morale and confidence, but tonight is more about effort in my books. Win or lose

I think their most dangerous clearance player is probably Tom Mitchell who has helped them get first hands on the ball to get it to their more outside run and gun style. I would love to see how Berry goes on him, considering he can literally just monster him with his size.

ZoBlitz has taken a smoko this week on the wing attendance, but we went with Neale / Berry / Dunkley and Clug / Ashcroft on the wings to start the game last week at the very least. It was less effective then against Melbourne, but I think that combo will be more potent this week against a weaker inside lineup that the Pies offer.

As has been mentioned, if we can take control of the contest and win the inside game, we are every chance to win this week.
Just FYI I will catch up on the wing attendances, just too busy enjoying my holiday at the moment.

We'll win and we will win well. Coming back from 1-3 is a real grind so no choice, get the win and move into an easier part of the draw.

Plenty of games left to make a run, but it's very hard to shake the feeling that tonight is a serious litmus test that will shape a lasting narrative either way.

I felt like we needed to just be competitive vs Melbourne to pass the test 2 weeks ago and was stoked with the win, but it feels like we need to win this one. Being competitive isn't enough tonight.

Need the win tonight to show we still have it in us to get up for heavyweight games. Beating Melbourne was important confidence booster, same with beating Pies tonight as well as games against Geelong, Swans etc.

The season would be no where near over but a thumping at the Gabba I front of what may be the biggest
Crowd of the could be the makings of a very bad year

Been a bad day, put our dog down.

.. but on a recent positive Aldi had my absolute favourite ice creams in stock that Woolworths used to stock and I couldn’t find for ages this afternoon..

The turnings of a better day? Or the continuation of a shit long weekend in preparation?

We had to put ours down two weeks ago. Either way, shit's ****ed. :(

It’s a horrible thing. Feel guilty because he was a physically healthy dog, but just an absolute nutcase mentally and was on a monstrous amount of anxiety medication. Wasn’t a nice way to live and it’s the right decision, but it hurts!
