This is so great to see. Working our ass off and not getting the rewards. Feel like we’ve worked too hard for not enough and will eventually run out of puff but it’s so fun to watch.

Doing really well. Win or lose we've showed plenty.

Not getting enough reward for effort and you'd think with how hard we are working with the young bodies we might drop off but so far it's been a ripper.

Quite frankly, was expecting to be steamrolled. Been a great first half to watch. Being picky, could have been further ahead.

Dominating the contested ball and clearances. Getting Amon involved means we make the best use of that dominance. Need to keep it up on the second half.

If we had a key forward who could create crumbling opportunities then our forward line would be very dangerous on today's form.

Might not show it on the scoreboard but that was the best qtr of football we've played this year.

Anihilated them in clearances, stoppages and pressure through the roof.

Will Day what a game. Keep saying it every week and he keeps going to another level.

Need some of that polish up forward to finishes them off.

Super effort from our boys today.

+13 contested possession
+14 clearances
+11 inside 50’s

Dry ball and Mitch Lewis….I can dream.

Gee I really like what I’m seeing. Pressure has been elite. Add a fit Lewis back into the forward line and we are on the right path.
Day as an inside mid is brilliant.

Bloody great half of footy - we've played really tough footy.

If we had a key forward that could take a mark we'd look very different.

The decision to move on O'Meara and Mitchell is 100 per cent vindicated looking at these clearance numbers. We are standing up week after week here.

Some highlights and comments:
  • Hardwick. Everything he does is high percentage footy. Would be a nightmare to play on.
  • Will Day - he's found the pace of the game and is genuinely brilliant in contested situations
  • Ferg looks really sharp.
  • McKenzie - everything going wrong for him today. Everything.
  • Tough tough footy. Newcombe, Meek, Nash, Hardwick all showing a lot of presence
  • The ruck combo is doing brilliantly.
  • Amon - very relaxed whenever he has it.
  • Impey - very nervous whenever he has it. (Amazing ability to dance himself into trouble and then kick long and blind)
  • Meek is my new favourite.

Super effort from our boys today.

Been a great game from Greene which is making me really excited for the prospect of how he'll play around a pillar like Lewis.
