How bad is it going to get now with Brit out for weeks. I said it after Rd 1 this is our chance to get number 1 draft pick and the league can’t take that player away and give her to another club.
I don’t like watching us get beaten up, but injuries and poor recruitment has us in this position. We can’t just rely on Ruby and Bri. Hopefully we can get some game development into the next gen.

I hope Daisy and the Eagles have some early week jet lag.

Bonnici and Davey we really haven't been able to consistently get on the park over the last few seasons. Both of course suffering ACL injuries in that time to, and this has had an impact on this team.
I have said it before, trade out, get early picks in, get some good top end talent in, build a team around players like Cronin, Patterson ( hopefully she does join us), Clarke, Remmos, Schutte, James, Atkinson etc whilst sifting through the more senior players who we want to keep and see as value to trade out. Players like Bonnici, Davey, Schleicher, Butler, Rowe, Livingstone etc and get some good draft picks in. We will have a top 2 to 4 pick after this season you would think, and that inclusion along with Patterson will help next season.
We have only seen Lee briefly play, out of the 3 players we brought in at the end of last season. Hopefully, Howarth and Hyde can add something to this team going forward once they're able to play....

I do like that the coach has no preconceived ideas as to where players have played in the past.

Sending Jordy fwd and Atkinson on the ball was a great move.
Jordy should have swallowed that first ball. Almost regulation lead up.

Ps. How good is Atkinson given it’s her 3rd Game. Looks completely on the pace.

Still haven’t improved our basic footy skills or smarts. Handball direct to them lead to their first goal, panic soccer kick leads to their second goal. Getting very easily opened up on transition too.

I can somewhat cop the midweek games. Not a fan of them but can understand the need to cram these games in given where we are at.

But surely it's time for the club to put forward a strategy for upgrading Victoria Park to be able to host night games? Sick of playing home games at the scums shithole.

Big contrast to the eagles who are kicking long to one on ones. Meanwhile we’re dancing around unsuccessfully waiting for a loose player to handball to instead of kicking it long when we have space

With the low crowd numbers we easily could have played this at Olympic park.
