Amongst all this, I haven't heard anyone mount a compelling argument for why the team that put in an appallingly bad performance and were beaten by Footscray, should go in largely unchanged. Have at it Mulligan Brigade. What is the game plan? Why will this team as selected beat a RED HOT Collingwood, when last week they were publicly dacked by a TEPID Footscray?

Probably because the same team walloped Melbourne the week before. Given the wild inconsistencies (from bottom 6 performances to top 4 performances) week to week, it’s pretty clearly a mental thing and not a personnel thing.

Chopping and changing the team won’t do anything to fix that if half the team is mentally out of it
