Way I see it is that it's only +50k with Hayes or evens with Rachele who most have sitting on their benches anyway so don't know why you couldn't justify Preuss at R3. Gives you the option of shifting Gawn/Grundy down the line as well if they keep spudding.

Way I see it is that it's only +50k with Hayes or evens with Rachele who most have sitting on their benches anyway so don't know why you couldn't justify Preuss at R3. Gives you the option of shifting Gawn/Grundy down the line as well if they keep spudding.

But what else does doing that trade cost you?

Say you traded Hayes (if he's dropped) down to McInnes/NOD any rook you like the look of, instead of Pruess. You'd make $170k right off the bat instead of costing yourself 50k. So you have 220k more to put on field this week. Not to mention the cash the rook might make too.

Preuss has to average 100 over the next 4 weeks to make up that cash you've already cost yourself. And if you think he goes at 100 I think you need to have him on your field.

That's how I'm seeing it anyway. It's on field or nothing for me

Im thinking of doing something craazy this week. Macrae and crisp to docherty and english. Dogs have soo many mids to feed and pies strategy is different this year. Crisp will loose another 50k easily and macrae another 100k.

Agree on preuss but it's not like the money is gone. You'll still get the 200k when you cash him in.

I have Hayes R3 so if I knew he were dropped I might grab Preuss to keep the money ticking over (I'd rather grab the other hayes but he's not named).

Unfortunately I probably won't know the fate of hayes until fri night and my other trade needs to be skinner which has to happen Thurs.

But anywho, if Preuss is coming in as an R3 all he is to me is +$50k this week.

I can just get that in from someone else like Mead or McInnes and be no worse off from this week (or very close anyway).

With a 7 BE, if you’re using him for cash gen on the bench, you might as well get Reef McInnes for 200k less with a 2 BE imo, save yourself 200k. But you think Preuss Will average a lot more than Reef? Well then you want him on field imo

D5 and D6 foley and bowey atm and I sleep alot easier because of it.

Defence is going to be a thorn in our backsides.

D4 and D5 for me is Hewett and SicDawg.

Just don't ask about D6, D7 or D8...

It's tough to find 2 trades to do when all but 5 of my players have a BE that's easily achievable.

And the 5 that don't are premos I'm more than happy to hold.

Injuries and droppings about the only moves I can make atm..

I'm VCing him probably more out of stubbornness than anything.

He's a proven better fantasy player than Dunkley so I can't not pick him... or I may aswell trade him :-/

It helps that the Tigers tend to let outside mids run around doing as they please, so even if he ends up stuck on a wing he should still score well.

Dunks has benefited from a couple of fairly contested games the last couple of weeks; wonder if this game might be a bit more open and suit Crae better? Especially on the wide open spaces of the G.

Trade out Touk and Dunkley for a couple of non-playing rooks if you’re really missing the stress and nervous sweats that much

Mead v McIness to get in?

Both seem to be rated by their sides. Mead has role issues but should stay in. McIness has tank issues but do they stick with him and let him improve it in the seniors?

I'm in the same boat.
If you want mead it's probably the last week. But I'm not sure on his JS.

Mcinnes cheaper but probably similar JS issues.

The big problem is we can't fit all mid rooks in right now.
Until we hit round 6 and we get some DPPs added we'll have a traffic jam on our hands.

Atm I'm ward and macdonald on bench. So I've go 1 free spot.
So whoever I take now it's maybe the last mid for 2 weeks.

Or I need to play someone like ward over xerri / curnow or Martin in order to squeeze 1 more in.

Edit: I'm leaning toward McInnes this week for that small bit of extra coin.
