Kreuzer -> Lecras
Osborn (89k ruck) -> Sinclair

Already had Crouch and Terlich. I have 150k for SJ or Ablett next week barring injuries.

Interesting that so many people are going for a double upgrade next week with Mayes possibly on the bubble.

and wright

That's the first time I've seen Martin and consistent in the same sentence...... :p

Martin was consistent last year, consistently disappointing. He'd have 50 or 60 by half time then finish with 70 or 80.

I literally had about 10 different combinations I could have gone, getting rid of Waters, Varcoe, Whitfield, K.Mitchell, Currie, B.Kennedy in some combination for Terlich, Birchall, Hodge, Mayes, Crouch, Sinclair, Rowe, Bartel (nice fade) etc...

Eventually chose to go

Varcoe -> Leunberger (Cox to forwards)
K.Mitchell -> Mayes (I don't have a midfield DPP, this will give me some options in a few weeks)

Probably could have waited a week on Mayes and gone Crouch instead but if I did would have had to cut a rookie a little bit early to make sure I got Mayes.

Also means I missed the Terlich train but Im not too upset, if I have a spare trade I might go Pittard to Terlich next week anyway, means I miss one week but that is not too disappointing. In a way I wish that Docherty hadn't got a game this week so I could have gone Docherty -> Terlich and then K.Mitchell -> Mayes next week.

In a way a lot of injuries strike down DT next week and all those who got Mayes early don't need to burn a trade acquiring him would be good :p

Ended up doing what I planned all week:

Kreuzer > Goldstein
Zorko > Westhoff

Now I still need to offload Varcoe, Mitchell and Kommer, who are all on the bench. I couldn't afford to cop another price drop from spud Zorko. Westhoff with a BE of -20 was a no brainer, even if he scores a 70 his price will still rise by like 40k or thereabouts.

One question; why are so many people (I use that term sparingly) jumping on LeCras? His BE is 47, which isn't that appealing. He'll probably only gain 15k this week and I don't really see him as a true premium (happy to be proven wrong).

I forgot about all the sneaky trades and just did Kreuzer to Rowe snd Brown to Terlich to capitalize on price rises.

Next round the same, then start upgrades.

Watch me storm home. :oops:

Yeh I'm doing the same. 2 downgrades this week for 700k then another 2 next week. Want to get on Wright & Mayes. Will leave me around 1Mil to upgrade every starting rookie by Rd9 :)

Yeah after all my pro Goldstein talk I reversed the trade when Daw was named and took Rowe as well. Used the extra coin to finally get rid of Lycett and grabbed the Much hyped Hoff. Will be down 30 points in the ruck but Hoff replaces a rookie scorer averaging in the 60's so he'll need to score 100+ for me to gain extra points this week.

1) Job security
2) Zero chance of vest
3) Generally a reliable scorer and he averaged 86 in 2011

If things turn out disastrous for my team he'll be F6 all year, but otherwise I think he will make some money whilst churning out scores better than all other forward rookies, and then in a couple of weeks you can have a look at SJ etc.

Yep spot on. Plus he is playing more in the middle which should boost his scoring and we have some friendly games coming up which he could potentially pump out some big scores in.

He is currently my F6 and like Westhoff, Kennedy and Monfries, is in my team to make some money and be an easy upgrade. If one or two of them become keepers then I will be stoked but not relying on it.
