Wow, if those injury rumours turn out true there will be a few more contenders for the spud superstar of the week.

Bloody hell I hope that is not true.

Whether true or not, as someone who pretty much ignores that football media Port have got to be huge chances. And $8? I would get a piece of that if I would not feel guilty afterwards

Even if they are out and with the other injuries you still have a better team than the ones we have lost to this season so no we aren't really huge chances. We do play Etihad far better than the MCG though so that will help keep the margin down.

I hear Level 2 seating is apparently pretty damn good at Etihad so I just blew $116 on 2 tickets :) At least I will be comfortable if we get pumped.
Level 2 is very nice. What section?I think we were in 27 or 28 for the Bombers game and that was right behind the goals.

Just put my money where my mouth is - I can always disinfect that $2 coin later - and was hoping to add a couple more cents in the dollar by tacking on the GWS game as a multi. No dice, just margins.

Fancy playing Gold Coast, Bulldogs, GWS and us in the first 5 weeks? No wonder they're the greatest turnament ever!

Thought i would let you guys in on a little secret- Heath Shaw out (hammy) and maybe Daisy (hammy) reliable source. If i am wrong i will return and you can let me have it! Hope you guys upset em!

I read that as resting for ANZAC Day cos we'll beat these spuds anyway. If true, I hope it well and truly comes back to bite them.

I give us more of a chance winning at Ethiad then the MCG... Pies have handed us some huge thumpings at the G.

Got some hope for this game :)

Jolly, Pendlebury and Sidebottom will be dangers for us IMO.

The only thing that I can be sure of, is that it will be closer than last year.

Seriously, whilst we talk of winning, realistically they are better than us and playing at home, and should win comfortably.

What I want to see (and Rooch might want to read this as it seems he has forgotten it, effort leads to victory, not victory to effort) is this.

"To be successful, each of us must be active, aggressive and devoted to this cause. We agree that success is well within our reach and have confidence that each member of both the team and management will suffer personal sacrifices for the common end.

Also we know that, should we after striving to our utmost and giving our everything, still not be successful, our efforts will become a further part of this Club's enviable tradition.

Finally, we concede that there can be honour in defeat, but to each of us, honourable defeat of our Club and guernsey can only come after human endeavour on the playing field is completely exhausted."

With the malthouse mcguire situation, their inaccurate kicking this year (Ranked 11th in the competition with us in 3rd) and the bad form they are in we have a great chance of snatching victory!

In a way though its almost a negative that they have some players out. Its almost a lose lose. We win and people will pass it off as us only beating them because they were missing all these players and if we lose then we are the same old port that cant even beat a half strength collingwood.

Yep - the best outcome though is still a win!!

At a stage now where I dont care - I want the 4 points

Gee, I hope the players have as much positivity as the BF Collingwood Injury thread.

Chopperdave, you're spot on mate. If anything, the heat is on us this week to capitalise on the opportunity to really sink the boots in and nail the Pies. Get this friggin monkey off our backs.
