Bird almost sneaked in for me. That kick on goal should have been allowed but it seemed the goal umpire was bamboozled into calling it a behind. Fantastic goal should have been rewarded.

He's a very good player. I think it's hard to give points this weak (intentionally misspelt in dedication to the first quarter). Reid, Lloyd and Hannebery the stand outs and then quite a few. I gave some thought to Smith who took Walters out of the game almost completely, Kennedy who goes unnoticed a lot and McVeigh.

The boundary umpires were getting into the face of the goal umpire to convince him. I can't help but wonder where they got them from but I suspect the Fremantle Junior League volunteered readily.
