That is one seriously shit GWS jumper. It looks like a training strip but the irony is, their training tops are actually vaaaaastly more pioneering than that. This seems like some sort of rare occurrence that'd be looked back on with confusion – like the actual clash jumpers weren't manufactured in time, or, I don't know, they didn't get AFL clearance, and so they had to wear this.

This is genuinely the epitome of bog average. I like the shadow on the G but making that the jumper is as half-hearted as the Gold Coast jumpers.

What a shame.

Yep my first thought was "this is a rushed effort".

If Collingwood were the away team tomorrow it occurred to me that to further alleviate the clash they should have a white number panel. From the front when they wear white shorts I tend to think they look ok against Essendon, Richmond and Carlton. It's the back and sides that create problems, particularly the white numbers on a black background. I'd like to know if the white number panel did the trick, clash wise.
I know they are the home side tomorrow so its not their problem as such. I also know the white base is the obvious solution

That's our schtick.

Western Sydney really need to figure out if their home jumper is light or dark, and if they can't decide then clearly the jumper needs more balance.
Probably should have orange shorts on the home, though the charcoal DOES look nice, you've still got the same problem you're trying alleviate.

Also :thumbsu: on the short stripes.

Of all the mock ups that have come and gone, far out... why did they settle for what they did?
They're going for branding with the 'G', stupid marketing people, although to be fair when they handed naming the team over to the players they went with Greater Western Sydney instead of just Western Sydney, stupid millennials.

What? The players chose the name?
