Lol who is Stewart?
I don't know your players, sorry!
Stanley. That's not how Geelong's original design was was it? It's always been a full white and navy blue hoop jumper i thought. Not a white jumper with a pre determined number of navy blue hoops.
That's the man!
Yeah I don't know. I don't think I've noticed any white space before with any other manufacturer..

Hmm, I just noticed on Geelong's ruckmen that ISC have limited ALL guernseys to 5 navy hoops... So you're left with a lot of white on the bottom of the guernsey.

Whoever is #1 for Geelong (is it Stewart or something) had a good 30cm of white left at the bottom of his guernsey.

You are correct. This image shows a myriad of different length guenrseys, all with only five hoops. Probably not as bad with white shorts, but I reckon it will look terrible paired with navy shorts.

ISC creates the weirdest issues for themselves.

Surely you'd spread the 5 hoops evenly across the jumper with the AFL and Sponsor Logo in the 2nd hoop and manufacturers patch in the 5th?

See this makes sense to me. Every jumper finishes with white and has the same number of stripes. An exceptionally wide Collingwood jumper doesn't have 4 stripes, for example. Geelong has a white jumper with 5 navy hoops, just like Collingwood is a black jumper with 3 white stripes.

Yeah the problem is more how they've done it, not that there are only 5 hoops.

They've based the hoops off the top of the jumper, leaving longer bottoms, which are less important than the collar ending in a different hoop or the manufacturer logo being in a different hoop or partway across hoops.
2 lots of each isn't it? So 6.

Hoops keep repeating, leaving a thick red hoop at the bottom (left) a tiny bit of yellow (centre on his back) or a thin red hoop (right). You can just make out the manufacturer logo on the right is going into the gold but the one on the left is fully in thew navy, because its location is based off the bottom of the guernsey.

Yeah but the wide jumper still has three stripes spaced evenly.

These long jumpers may have five hoops but aren't spaced evenly.

The Pies jumper looks about 75% white from the front today
I've been meaning to do a thing on this. I'm convinced that the black and white stripes are equal in width, but because the white is reflects light and the black absorbs light, the white appears wider. I think its why the black on white jumper is better looking. But yeah, first thing I thought when they came out of the race was that it looked extra white today.

I've said before, will say it again. Game would look better with Pies in white shorts. There the only team the unofficial white rule doesnt seem to apply to.

Best looking game would be Collingwood traditional white jumper / white shorts v Bombers in black. But we know Eddie is too arrogant for that.

The red looks much brighter than last year where the sash was kind of blended into the black. I liked last year's better actually but the brighter red will do something to help the putrid clash
Collingwood should have worn white for tradition and because it creates the best visual spectacle, this is meant to be a showcase game isn't it? Everything should be to the highest standard including the presentation.
